Kratom Genie Review: A Canadian Buyer's Guide

Kratom Genie is a Canadian kratom retailer selling powder and capsules online. Our previous review stated that it is an American Kratom Association approved vendor holding GMP certification. Neither claim holds up, and this review replaces it.

Prices and shipping terms were read off the vendor's live site on 29 August 2026. Lab-testing status, contact details and certification claims were re-checked on 23 September 2026.

The certification claims do not hold

Our earlier review asserted, in several places, that Kratom Genie is "an AKA-approved vendor" with "GMP certification", and that this certification "guarantees a universal standard of safety".

The American Kratom Association publishes its GMP Qualified Vendor list publicly. We retrieved it on 18 September 2026. It lists 36 vendors. Kratom Genie is not among them, and no Canadian vendor appears on it at all — including every other vendor in our review set.

We also found no reference to GMP certification on Kratom Genie's own site, and no certificate published.

We want to be precise about the likely source of the error rather than just the error itself. "Earth Kratom" does appear on the AKA list — a United States brand, and a different company from Canada's Kratom Earth. Names in this market are easily confused, and an unverified claim of third-party certification is exactly the kind of thing that should never have been published without checking the register. We have checked it now.

Lab testing: nothing published

No certificates of analysis, and no lab page linked from the homepage. On our 30% lab-testing criterion it scores 2.

Pricing

$13.75 for 30g, which is $0.458 per gram, and $82.50 for 300g, which is $0.275 per gram. Note that this vendor sells in 30g and 300g units rather than the 25g and 250g used by most of the set, so the per-gram figures are the only fair comparison.

Shipping and payment

The site advertises free express shipping at 2–3 days, with a next-day upgrade at $25. We found no published dispatch-time commitment. Payment is by e-Transfer or cryptocurrency.

Contact and transparency

A phone number is published. We found no email address, street address or postal code on the pages we checked. The store runs on an older e-commerce platform with limited published business information.

It scores 2 on lab testing, 7.1 on pricing, 6 on shipping and 3.6 on transparency. The previous 8 rested substantially on a certification the vendor does not hold.
